How To Buy a Plug

1. Put plug into handbag to help with size selection
2. Tell Toddler to put pants on
3. Convince Toddler that he can wear his "Thomas" jeans and Thomas shoes and socks
4. Grab cellphone, Keys, Parcel to post, and Glasses
5. Put "Cool Dude" Glasses on Toddler
6. Walk out back door, unlock car, put parcel in
7. Open car door for Toddler to get in
8. Chase Toddler on motorbike tricycle
9. Catch Toddler and put into car seat
10. Give Toddler his "Cup" and "Ducky" (Ducky must be in cup)
11. Close door and open Gate
12. Move motorbike tricycle out of the way
13. Get in car and Drive to the shops
14. Park near the post office
15. Explain to Toddler we're going to the post office first, then we'll got to the playground and then buy a plug
16. Get told to go "Round there" by Toddler pointing and getting upset that I took the keys out the car (I'm guessing he's telling me to park where we usually park for Mitre10 for the playgound)
17. Calm toddler down and explain again that we are going to the post office first THEN the playground
18. Put Toddler in pram and hand them the parcel to hold
19. Get to post office and hand over parcel
20. Explain to toddler that we can't just take things off the shelves and keep them
21. Walk out post office and walk towards Mitre10
22. Walk around corner and have rain pour down
23. Run/Walk Briskly to Mitre10
24. Go to playground
25. Remind Toddler they need to take their shoes off for the bouncy castle
26. Play/Follow Toddler around for 30 minutes
27. Look at time and realise it's lunch time
28. Tell Toddler 5 more slides and then we're going home
29. Count stairs with Toddler
30. Wave at Toddler through windows in tunnel
31. Count to 3 for Toddler to go down the slide
32. Remind Toddler that they have 4 more slides to do then hometime
33. Follow Toddler to the "Car" the "X" and count stairs with Toddler again
34. Catch Toddler who decides to jump from top of the stairs
35. Count Stairs with Toddler
36. Repeat steps 30-33 until Toddler only has one more time to go down the slide
37. Count stairs with Toddler "Bye Bye Stairs" (yes, say bye to each step) :-P
38. Go through tunnel - say "Bye Tunnel"
39. Count to 3 for Toddler to go down the slide
40. Say "Bye Slide"
41. Remind Toddler the it is time to go
42. Put Toddler back in Pram
43. Give Toddler a high 5 for being such an awesome boy and getting in the pram nicely with no fuss :-D
44. Put Toddlers shoes on
45. Exit playground and go to plug aisle
46. Realise that you left handbag with plug at home...
47. Collect a plug that looks like the right size
48. Buy Plug
49. Get Toddler into car by reminding them that we're going home to each lunch, Toddler replies "Lunch" *nods*
50. Get home, check plug and it fits!
51. Give pat on the back and feed Toddler his lunch :-)

How to Bake Gluten Free Banana Bread

1. Get pre-mixed Banana Bread Mix out
2. Preheat Oven
3. Get oven trays out
4. Find Toddler looking in Freezer
5. Take Frozen Pizza Toastie off Toddler
6. Put Pizza Toastie in oven for Toddlers lunch (minus one toddler-sized-bite)
7. Decide to make Gluten Free Chocolate Mud Cake too
8. Dry Breakfast Dishes
9. Tell Toddler not to touch the oven. "Hot" he replies #proudmummymoment (he's getting it!)
10. Finish drying dishes
11. Pick up Toddler and put in high chair
12. Collect Thomas quilt (as Thomas needs feeding too!)
13. Drape Thomas quilt over the back of the high chair
14. Feed Toddler Pizza Toastie
15. Decide to make the Gluten Free Mud Cake into Muffins
16. Look outside (it's sunny again - see "How to do the washing in winter")
17. Put another load of washing on
18. Mix together pre-mixed Gluten Free Mud Cake Mix
19. Put in muffin trays and then in the oven
20. Get Toddler out of the High Chair
21. Set timer
22. Hang out washing while the muffins bake
23. Tell Toddler not to stand on his trike to reach the Digger on the BBQ (Daddy took it off him before for throwing it around)
24. Distract toddler by asking to help with counting pegs needed for the washing
25. Get slapped in the face by soaking-cold-wet t-shirt (it was left on the line from before)
26. Bend down, collect pegs off Toddler
27. Get hair bun caught in the straps of a singlet on the line
28. Untangle bun from singlet straps
29. Tell Toddler to get down off the picnic table
30. Hang a few items of washing and find Toddler has emptied his Thomas PJ's into the muddy puddle
31. Point out to Toddler that we now need to wash the Thomas PJ's again and we don't put clean washing into puddles
32. Clean Toddlers muddy Hands
33. Finish hanging up washing
34. Put Thomas PJ's in the washing machine
35. Tell Toddler that we don't mop the concrete
36. Take muddy gumboots off Toddler
37. Take Muffins out of the oven
38. Make coffee
39. Sit down and drink coffee - remember you forgot to make the Banana Bread
40. Decide to enjoy the coffee and make Banana Bread another day.

How to do the washing in winter

1. Get up for the day and see that the sun is out, perfect for a wash day
2. Put a load of washing on
3. Put Fireman Sam on for Toddler while you make breakfast
4. Eat Breakfast while having a quick peek on FB and checking Emails
5. See that there are Thunder Storms in West Auckland
6. Look outside (it's still sunny)
7. See that there is Hail and Thunder Storms in Central Auckland
8. Quickly get dressed
9. Hear Toddler say "Ta Da!"
10. Find Toddler on coffee table
11. Tell Toddler we don't stand on tables
12. Look outside and see sky is starting to darken
13. Put Toddlers Gumboots and Warm Raincoat on
14. Run outside with basket and Toddler
15. Start putting semi dry washing in basket while Toddler rides tricyle
16. Hear "Oh no!" turn to find Toddler fallen off trike into puddle
17. Pick Toddler up and tell them it's ok
18. Look at sky and see more darkened clouds
19 Rip the remainder of the semi dry washing off the line and throw into basket
20. Carry basket in one hand and Toddler in the other to back door
21. Take off gumboots, wet raincoat and PJ pants (find that thermal and nappy is dry)
22. Put washing basket on coffee table
23. Try to convince toddler they need new pants, socks and t-shirt on
24. Fail to convince Toddler that even though Fireman Sam wears pants, socks and a t-shirt he should too
25. Make coffee and milo
26. Manage to drink coffee and Toddler drink milo (be satisfied that Toddler is warm and dry for now)
27. Start folding semi dry clothes to put in hot-water cupboard
28. Tell Toddler "Thomas towel needs to go in the hot-water cupboard to be nice and dry and warm for tonights bath
29. Watch in amusement as Toddler picks up Thomas towel anyway
30. Follow Toddler into his room and see him put Thomas towel into his bed and tucks him in *nods* "Warm Thomas"
31. Say "well done" and convince Toddler that Thomas would be warmer with his "friends"the other towels in the hot-water cupboard until his bath tonight
32. Finish folding semi dry washing
33. Empty hot-water cupboard and put clothes from there away
34. Find pair of favourite socks in Hubby's sock draw (been looking for these for AGES!)
35. Finish putting clothes away
36. Hear "No! Leave it alone" in Lounge where Hubby, washing and Toddler are
37. Come into the lounge expecting washing to be all over the place or Thomas towel in Toddlers hands
38. Find Toddler looking into his Nappy instead
39. Have a laugh and take Toddler to the Toilet
40. Wash hands, tell Toddler not to eat cupcake soap
41. Put semi dry washing away into the hot-water cupboard
42. Look outside (it's still sunny)
43. Try to convince Toddler to put clothes on again
44. Fail
45. Next load of washing is finished
46. Put washing in basket
47. Open door
48. Hear Thunder - see Hail...
49. Close door
50. Put washing aside for later and show excited Toddler the Hail falling down

How to get a Good Nights Sleep

1. Go to bed
2. Fall Asleep
3. Wake up freezing
4. Close bedroom window
5. Snuggle into blankets and start to drift off to sleep
6. Get woken up by Toddler
7. Pull Toddler into bed to warm them up
8. Get head butted by Toddler
9. Get Kicked by Toddler
10. Give Toddler to Daddy
11. Make bottle
12. Collect Toddler off Daddy
13. Change Nappy
14. Put Toddler in bed
15. Sing "This old Man"
16. Sing "There was an old Lady who swallowed a fly"
17. Walk slowly to door
18. Get to Door
19. Stop
20. Turn around and collect bottle
21. Sing "Flying Fortress"
22. Realise Toddler fell asleep
23. Sneak out of room
24. Fall back into bed and dream of Fireman Sam...with the theme song playing in the background

How to Clean the Kitchen Floor

How do you clean your kitchen floor? See the 10 Easy Steps Below:
1. Go to the loo
2. While in there, leave helpful toddler in the kitchen to empty half a bottle of dishwashing liquid onto the floor
3. Fill a bucket up
4. Grab the sponge mop from outside
5. Remember that the sponge needs to be replaced
6. Remove old sponge to find that you got the wrong brand of replacement sponge
7. Decide to give said toddler a wet cloth to "help"
8. Get down on hands and knees to scrub the floor with the sponge
9. Get drenched by the toddler who then puts the full wet cloth on your shoulder, back, (and yes, bum!)
10. End up playing with the bubbles, have a water fight, and Finnish up mopping by walking from one end of the kitchen to the other with a towel on your feet
TADA! Clean Kitchen Floor! 
How to Vacuum the house:
1. Get out Vacuum
2. Give excited toddler a vacuum attachment to hold onto (as he really loves to help vacuum)
3. Start vacuuming
4. Get to bedrooms and realise Toddler is not following and "vacuuming" behind you as he usually does...
5. backtack to the kitchen
6. Find said Toddler "feeding" the cat
7. Get out brush and shovel
8. Put entire contents of cat food back into its bag
9. Finish vacuuming
10. Go to bed and let Hubby take over until Dinner. 
How to Cook Dinner:
1. Get woken up by awesome little smiles and cuddles from cute Toddler 
2. Get up from Nap and prepare potatoes and peas
3. Get told "Wees" by Toddler
4.Take Toddler to the toilet
5. Get roll out of the toilet and put in rubbish bin
6. Clean up wees off the floor and tell Toddler that it's ok, accidents happen
7. Wash Hands with Toddler trying to eat soap that looks like cupcake
8. Start cooking sausages and prepare Gravy
9. Clean up cornflour off kitchen floor
10. Serve dinner to family
How to put Toddler to bed:
1. Convince Toddler that they need a nappy on to go to bed
2. Put Toddler into PJ's
3. Tell Toddler one book, one story, one song and then sleep
4. Read one book, tell one story and sing three songs
5. Say goodnight to toddler and get a lovely "goodnight" back
6. Walk out room in amazement that there was no "sing song" or "Wait, where you going?"
7. Get to lounge give DH and FIL a triumphant smile and air punch
8. Go to kitchen to start dinner dishes
9. Hear a giggle and a "Hi!" behind you
10. Stop stacking dishes and put Toddler back to bed.
